Laranica is a witch blessed or cursed (?) with an immortal body. Persecuted by humans, she lives alone deep within the forest, spending centuries with only a single wish in her heart: to die.
One day, after hundreds of years have passed, she encounters a badly injured boy in the depths of the woods. With no family or home to return to, she names him Nox and decides to take him in.
As time goes on, Nox begins to feel something for her that goes beyond simple affection. But Laranica has already made up her mind that she will never love someone bound by a mortal lifespan…
