Hwang Cheol-su is the second-generation heir of a famous South Korean chaebol, whose father is Hwang Ju-seung. Though he appears outwardly gentle, his mother Seo Jung-suk's extreme possessiveness has made him a notorious mama's boy even in college, leaving him without friends. Only Na Hye-seong approaches Cheol-su without hesitation. Cheol-su notices that his mother's possessiveness lessens whenever Hye-seong visits their house. Hwang Ju-seung, Cheol-su's father, who has never once touched Jung-suk since their marriage, becomes restless after meeting Na Hye-seong, sensing 'the scent of a woman'. And then there are Hye-seong's inscrutable actions. Each person's life, tainted by desire and ambition, begins to rush towards destruction.
