“Let’s call off the engagement.”
Chihun lets out a hollow laugh, his eyes wandering aimlessly in the air. His dark gaze fixed on Seoyeon, heightening the tension around them. Just like her newly cropped hair, Seoyeon left Chihun without a shred of regret. However, after three years without contact, Chihun suddenly reappears before her.
“You’re different from the Jin Seoyeon I knew.”
“But why do I feel like this is your true self?”
“Why do I feel like you’ve been deceiving me?”
As he speaks, his eyes seem to glisten with unshed tears. Looking haggard as if he hasn’t slept for days, Seoyeon finds herself unable to look away from him.
“Sleep with me, Jin Seoyeon.”
And so, once again, Seoyeon finds herself unable to refuse his proposal.
