In the Joseon Dynasty, Kunnomi, a herbalist in a small village, dreams of marrying his childhood friend Okbun. One day, Kunnomi discovers a place where the expensive herb “resurrection plant” grows wild, and is excited at the prospect of making a lot of money from it, but falls off a cliff and nearly dies. On the verge of death, Kunnomi accidentally eats the resurrection plant that a fox spirit has been carefully tending for 100 years, and both his life and his groin are restored.
