While on a spy mission, Milady falls in love with her enemy D’Artagnan. She believes that once the mission is over, the three of them — herself, D’Artagnan, and the child she carries — will live happily together. But at the last moment, she is cornered by the Musketeers. When she turns to D’Artagnan for help, she discovers that everything was his scheme all along, and she meets a tragic death with unquenchable fury burning in her chest. Yet in the depths of despair, as her strength fades, Milady is granted a “return” — a chance to redo her fate.
